You are the one actually generating screening data for both yourself...and all your colleagues. So you'll appreciate Projects in CDD Vault. Projects are helpful in two ways:
First, you can temporally control when colleagues view access either in the QC report and/or (after QC) by viewing it in one project before sharing it with others. In your CDD Vault you can create as many projects as desired. Once you are confident that everything is in order, you can provide access to others.
Second, you can sequester data associated with different experiments into separate projects. You separate who can see what, or can use projects to conveniently bin related experiments for yourself. Partitioning of data into projects is done directly within your natural workflow. Whoever is the Vault Admin can also add or remove users from projects at anytime with a click of a button:
With Projects, you address multiple folks' needs with a consistent, familiar, secure, collaborative workflow.
Some data you may wish to share just within your group, whereas other data you may wish to share with your group plus with selected other collaborators (or perhaps after some period of time when your group strikes a new collaboration or partnership). Perhaps you want to see all the raw data and primary screening results and another lab is doing a downstream secondary or tertiary screen. You can wait until you have IC50s run in triplicate, then share the results with a colleague. Once you are ready to show it, the IC50 curves in triplicate can be viewed separately or nicely superimposed to glean real trends with the click of a button! The results will be correctly interpreted and you’ll be rewarded for your hard, careful work. Finally, with calculations and visualization, information like ratios are generated and analyzed automatically as the data is collected.
All too often the data and your job and even you are overlooked. Not so when working with CDD Vault. You are so fine, you'll shine. The CDD platform was designed and built with a passion for you, the data generator, as the star of the show. The one generating the data is the one we have put on the pedestal. CDD’s raison d’être is to make your work easy, even delightful. Your boss is happy that it fits in the budget, your colleagues in the trenches are happy, and you are happy that someone has walked a mile in your shoes and finally gets it.
