About the seminar
This is continuation of the Bay Area Seminar Series of the Center for Computing in Life Sciences. This seminar, in the format of a panel discussion, will provide insights and explore issues regarding management of one’s data, sharing data with teams and enterprise-wide knowledge bases, and using data from the web. The panelists will describe their experiences as to how life science researchers and clinicians use data and tools to accomplish their day to day tasks and how organizations capture and employ IP as a resource for its knowledge workers. This discussion will include 1.) informatics objectives of end users, teams and organizations, 2.) information flow and tools 3.) improving decision making.
