Assay Depot and Rare Genomics Institute Unite 19 Life Science Companies to Launch a Rare Disease Research Competition.
From Sylvia Ernst, Senior Director of Community Growth
We at CDD are proud to be part of the Open Science Challenge with Assay Depot:
http://challenge.assaydepot.com/rare-disease-challenge/
Now it is up to you, all researchers, all scientists out there to make use of all the resources from CDD and others which are being made available to you via HEARD (Helping Empower and Accelerate Research Discoveries). We need to find new drug leads and ultimately cures for rare disease ailments that no solely commercial labs would from a short-term financial perspective necessarily tackle. For anyone who knows someone firsthand with a devastating rare disease, the need could not be greater.
While we provide the CDD Vault software to manage your assay data, compound management, chemical registration, and collaborations...there are many other members in this challenge providing valuable and useful complementary tools. Plus your proposal may win a cash prize too!
So what are you waiting for?
Thank you!
P.S. You can check out the full press release here.
