While CDD Vault has long provided strong visualization, we’ve just made visualization more powerful, flexible, and customizable with the recent release of our Curves module.
Our new curves module is designed to help you efficiently analyze and visualize complex data. Curves streamlines your data processing and expresses complex trends concisely and visually. You can use the Curves module to store, plot and analyze a wide range of data utilizing a variety of curve fits, custom calculations, curve customization, and plot customization options like overlays.
Whether you're a biologist or a chemist, this tool brings great efficiency to the drug discovery process. The Curves module includes a number of features to help speed time to discovery, including:
- Curve Overlay. Use Curve Overlays to compare multiple results in one plot. Search across assays to evaluate trends and overlay topics crucial for identifying promising compounds. Visualization is further enhanced with rich color-coding options. Choose the correct fit from a curated list and apply the appropriate analysis. Overlay top hits to aid in decision making.
- Summary Curve. Our Summary Curve feature averages results from multiple tests into a single curve for each parameter. With the click of a button you can toggle from the Summary Curve to multiple curves showing all results.
- Curve Fits. Our Curves module gives you the choice of various fit equations, including our newly optimized bell-shaped fits for complex biological responses. You can select from a number of curve-fit algorithms including the Hill and Bell equations. You can also add pick lists of curve comments for use in your QC process.
- Calculations. You can generate plots using raw, normalized and calculated values. Curves creates an automated workflow for data calculations. Just upload the data and Curves creates your plots, saving time and reducing errors. Whether you're applying potency, selectivity, ADME, toxicity, PK or PD data, Curves will help you develop a clear, compelling, visual data story.
- Customization & Presentation. Curves gives you full control over display options with our color-coding feature enhancing visual clarity, helping you easily share, explore and export visualizations. Easily add titles, legends, comments, and other information. Also add your own lines to draw attention to an area of the plot, such as a horizontal line at the point of 50% inhibition. Add or subtract whiskers. For sharing beyond CDD Vault you can easily export as a .PNG or .PDF file.
- Collaboration. Capture comments and securely share your visualizations and analysis with colleagues and collaborators using the project-based, access-controlled environment. Our new plot comments feature allows direct communication about specific data points on your Curves visualizations.
