New Interface for Protocol Readout Definitions
We are excited to announce a new, modern GUI for creating Protocol readout definitions in CDD Vault. This update provides a more intuitive and flexible approach to managing your data, especially for handling dose-response calculations essential for the upcoming Curve Analytics module.
Key Features:
Modular Approach to Readout Definitions:
- Dose-Response:: Users must define their concentration and raw data values independently.
- Plot: select predefined X and Y inputs. This provides the foundation for a flexible plotting tool which can be used in data presentation and analysis.
Preservation of Existing Functionality:
- All current features remain intact within the new workflow. The updated interface ensures seamless integration without affecting existing runs or data.
Access to Advanced Features:
- For additional capabilities such as feeding calculated values into the plot or normalizing calculated values, users should contact their account manager to enable the Curve Analytics module.
Automatic Conversion for Compatibility:
- Existing Protocol readout definitions are automatically converted to align with the new interface, ensuring compatibility and preserving data integrity.

Insert Structures using ‘must-be-unique’ User-Defined Fields
Users can now look up structures using identifiers stored in user-defined molecule or batch fields. These fields must be designated as ‘must-be-unique’ fields. When the user clicks the desired structure from the dropdown list, the structure is pasted in the structure editor to use in a search or as a starting point for structural modifications.
