Not only are April showers busy bringing May flowers, but we have it on good authority that the CDD Development team is super busy bringing customers tons of exciting new features. We hope you enjoy the new features included in this 1st April 2019 release.
(SPOILER ALERT: Be sure to audit this CDD Vault Updates blog and witness the exciting new features still to come!)
The Marvin Structure Editor has always been an integral part of the CDD Vault platform. In both the CDD Vault registration system and the CDD Vault ELN, Marvin provides an interactive mechanism for drawing chemical structures and/or reactions for querying, registering or inserting into ELN entries.Marvin now has the ability to look up structures based on a variety of input values (including CDD Vault Molecule IDs, CDD Vault Synonyms, IUPAC Names, Common Names and CAS Numbers). Just click the blue CDD Vault insert icon and type the value you wish to look up. Marvin will now render your value as a chemical structure.Note: The repository of Common Names and CAS Numbers that are available for look-up will be expanded in subsequent releases.

[caption id="attachment_14930" align="aligncenter" width="1084"]The value displayed in the Inventory Current Location field will now be the most recent value populated for a Location in a debit row. Users who wish to have blank Current Locations will have to populate some value (“blank”, “No Location”, etc) and map to the Location Inventory field when inserting a debit row.
