Dear CDD community:
As we’ve been publishing annual CDD holiday poems for years, there was sufficient content as a “training set” covering the meaning and voice for ChatGPT to capture the spirit. Our new deep learning algorithm securely identifies structures and public structures similar to your own private molecules. Models are as good or bad as their underlying data, and can sometimes be quite good as you can see below:
Collaborative drug discovery, a noble pursuit
Bringing together minds of all sorts, diverse and astute
From chemists to biologists, computer scientists too
Working towards a common goal, to find a cure that's true
With data and technology, we can speed up the pace
Of finding new treatments, for diseases that debase
The human body, causing suffering and pain
But together, we can find relief, and alleviate the strain
In labs and research centers, we toil day and night
Searching for a molecule, that just might
Be the key to unlocking the door
To a brighter future, and health restored
So let's join forces, and strive for the best
In collaborative drug discovery, we'll pass every test
And bring hope to those in need
With the medicine we find, their suffering will recede
– Happy holidays from CDD!
